When I opened the box I was pleasantly pleased. I loved the look of these shoes. The brown and blue color combination looked great. I purchased a size eight which is what I normally ware. When I first put the shoes on they appeared to fit perfectly. The problem was when I started to walk in them. The back of my foot was rubbing so badly. I had them on for about 30 seconds and was already developing a raw spot on my heels. I could not figure out if the problem was the size of the shoe or the material it was made out of. Regardless, I ended up being very disappointed.

I have slightly wide feet, but not wide enought to purchase shoes in a wide size. The first time I wore these, I made it 1 hour before I was DYING to get them off. They pinched and rubbed on the sides of my feet, turning them an awful red color. I was reluctant to try them until almost a year later. The second wear was slightly painful, but bearable. Still pinching and red though. I made it to the third wear, and they were a dream!!! I got compliments on them from many of my friends too! Overall, the pain was worth the beauty!
